“The ability for people to unite behind the idea that our very constitution is supposed to guarantee freedom of speech is a wonderfully sight to behold. We have to take our country back from the corporate state.” – Graham Nash

Coming off an incredible few sold out shows. Thanks again to Toots & the Maytals for having us out on the road with them. As always it’s like family when we hit the road with them. Got to chill with Music for Occupy (our song “Rebel” will be featured on the album).. we’re stoked to be down with their cause. More on that in the coming weeks. Next up, it’s back to Worcester April 6, and finally FNB returns to Up or on the Rocks April 13.

Strength to Survive Tour w/ SOJA & The Movement

Totally stoked to hit the road with our bredrin and help support their new album “Strength to Survive”, slated to release January 31, 2012. FNB will be supporting on various dates throughout February starting back down at one of our favorite venues, The National (Richmond, VA). Then we’re heading Northbound up through the Electric Factory (Philadelphia, PA), Bowery Ballroom (New York, NY), The Paradise (Boston), and Higher Ground (Burlington, VT).

Moving Positive into 2012…

It’s been a whirlwind few years for FNB. Starting with some lineup changes, new songwriting + collabs, trying new sounds that we’ve always wanted to get out, hit up some fests, launching a fully DIY record label so we can do things 100% our way for ourselves & our fans, who we know can tell the difference between manufactured bullshit and the real music we stand behind. And if 2011 is any measurement, then buckle your seat belts because 2012 is off to a huge start.

The year kicks off by announcing we’ll be out on a set of east coast tour dates supporting our boys SOJA & The Movement for SOJA’s upcoming album Strength to Survive. We’ll be hitting everywhere from Richmond, VA through Philly, to the Bowery Ballroom in NYC, then The Paradise in Boston & and we’re stoked to get back up to Higher Ground in Burlington, VT.

We’re also nearly finished recording our next album, Vibes, Love, Revolution? (Produced by our own ChrisTafari). Yup, we’re stoked. Not to mention how hyped we are for special guest spots by Rafa & Hellman on horns, Pat on Keys & Kenny Bongos from SOJA sweetening the mix up.

Stay up with us on facebook, grab tix early (seriously, because when we get on tours like these tix always sell out fast and we hate seeing our friends get stuck out), and get ready for a crazy year. Thanks for all of your support – it really means everything us.

Safe travels & BoomBlaze the Nation!
